A hybrid home where structural timber was used to replace dimension or engineered lumber products in a classic "prow front" design.

The ridge beam and mid-span roof beams are solid timber while the outer ends of the conventional rafters are supported by the wall framing.  Decorative timber rafters and horizontal beams have been added to the structural posts of the front wall for their aesthetic value, providing frames for the large windows.  A timbered porch, deck and basement entrance tie the timber concept together throughout the home, inside and out.
