David & Barbara's Carport

Simplicity rules in this efficient carport design - four posts and two trusses carry the entire structure, with 2" tongue & groove serving as both the structural roof deck, and finished ceiling.  The timbers are massive, and the stain colour sings in the lush garden setting.  David and Barbara were great fun - keeping us laughing and well hydrated throughout the raising process, and creating a truly festive and celebratory atmosphere.  Affectionately named "Otto Barn", the carport is welcome refuge for Sophia and Blackhawk (pictured) and is the first NEST structure to be christened with champagne.  Cheers!
